For a sample of Taiwan street food, try one of the many street stalls scattered around Taipei. Deep fired treats range from fried chicken to tianbula (tempura cakes), chicken bottoms, toufu and even broccoli and cabbage. Other street stall foods include Japanese style boiled snacks (heilun/oren/oden) and sometimes even pizza. Stalls are usually clean but food can often be quite greasy.
