KL getting around

KLIA Ekspres takes around 30 minutes to complete the journey between KLIA and the city (KL Sentral). An adult single journey fare is RM 35.00. City check-in is possible for selected airlines. LINK: KLIA Ekspres info and fares

Buses to the KLIA and LCCT leave from KL Sentral station. Travel time to LCCT is around 1 hour (longer during heavy traffic).

KL Monorail and trains are the best way to get around much of central KL and to or near most of KL’s attractions. LINK: monorail map and fare info

This is KL’s main bus station. Buses to both airports also leave from here.

Taxis can be inexpensive, but you must be prepared to bargain as fares are often set in advance. Otherwise you can try to insist on using the taxi meter (not always very easy).
