Bollywood Veggies
Bollywood Veggies are growers of organic tropical fruits on the northern outskirts of Singapore. Farm tours are available. The on site Poison Ivy Bistro uses farm grown produce in an alfresco dining setting.
Changi Village
Experience Singapore at a slower pace. The seafront Changi Point Coastal Walk and Changi Beach Park extends for several kilometres. So too does a bike path in the area (bikes can also be rented here). Try the laid back food centres for yum cha or local cuisine. Bum boats for Pulau Ubin also depart from here (Changi Point Ferry Terminal).
Red Dot Design Museum
Housed in the former home of Singapore's traffic police, the centre was set up in 2005 and is home to installations and exhibitions with a focus on design and creativity.
Singapore City Gallery
An exhibition highlighting the transformation of Singapore over the past decades with a look at future plans. Includes city models and hands on exhibits.
Singapore Crocodile Farm
The crocodile farm rears and breeds crocodiles, and offers an introduction to various species of the crocodylus family.
Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve
Recognized as a site of international importance for migratory birds, with September to March being the best time to catch a glimpse of migratory birds. At other times, you can observe local mangrove and mudflat flora and fauna and walk the Kranji Nature Trail.
Underwater World Singapore
Situated on family friendly Sentosa, Underwater World Singapore showcases 250 species from around the tropical neighbouring regions. The centre features a Touch Pool where you can get a feel for stingrays and even baby sharks.
