Opened in 2007, the National Centre for the Performing Arts is a stunning piece of modern architecture. Designed by French architect Paul Andreu, the complex contains an Opera Hall, a Music Hall and Theatre Hall. The NCPA is situated right next to Great Hall of the People, and within in walking distance of Tiananmen Square.
